Rebecca JonesRebecca Jones is a physician working in Vermont and Massachusetts, and is passionate about coming up with common sense solutions to climate change and the healthcare crisis. She grew up in Lexington MA, in a household and community that emphasized education above all else. Her parents, avid gardeners and naturalists, instilled in her a love of nature and a sense of responsibility for the living world–especially for those things and people who cannot protect themselves. After graduating from Bates College, she spent time doing benchtop research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and there was introduced to the world of Medicine. After medical school at UMASS in worcester, she completed internship and residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. She draws from her many interests, including art, history, literature, science and ethics, in her pursuits to frame the great problems we face as a society, and their solutions.
